About this piece
Homecoming was painted from an aerial perspective, inspired by the first arrival into the Kamloops landscape. Golds and warm reds move across the surface like land seen from above—familiar and new at the same time. The painting reflects the moment when place begins to register emotionally, before details settle, and before belonging has fully formed.
About the Homecoming Collection
The Homecoming collection was created in response to the landscapes surrounding Kamloops and Sun Peaks, and to the experience of moving through a home shaped by light, land, and arrival. The works are released gradually, one at a time, mirroring the way the collection was created.
The collection is organized into three tiers—Collectors Works, Core Works, and Hero Works—reflecting scale, placement, and role within the home.
About this work
This painting is a Core Work, developed to create continuity and visual flow throughout the home. Core Works carry the collection from room to room, allowing the landscape to unfold gradually rather than through a single focal point.

Framing
Framing for the Homecoming collection is provided in partnership with Preferred Framing, Kamloops. Each work is presented in a simple, high-quality wood floater frame selected for consistency and longevity.
Community Partnership
A portion of proceeds from the Homecoming collection supports the Kamloops YMCA through the annual YMCA Showhome initiative.
Display & Delivery
This artwork is currently on display as part of the YMCA Showhome and will remain installed until the close of the exhibition. Following the show, the artwork will be professionally packaged. Insured shipping or local pickup from the artist’s studio in Kamloops is available by prior arrangement.
