Homecoming Collection
About this piece
Ridge Memory draws from the Dewdrop Trail, where the land rises gently and the valley opens in long, quiet views. The painting reflects how memory forms through repeated encounters with place—each pass revealing something slightly different, yet familiar. Layered ridgelines and softened colour hold the feeling of landscape remembered rather than recorded.
About the Homecoming Collection
The Homecoming collection was created in response to the landscapes surrounding Kamloops and Sun Peaks, and to the experience of moving through a home shaped by light, land, and arrival. The works are released gradually, one at a time, mirroring the way the collection was created.
The collection is organized into three tiers—Collectors Works, Core Works, and Hero Works—reflecting scale, placement, and role within the home.
About this work
This painting is a Core Work, developed to carry continuity and presence through the home. At a larger scale, Core Works like Ridge Memory hold a room quietly—offering structure and flow without demanding attention.
